Adaptándose bien a agua blandas y duras.
These algae are well-known as “Marimo Balls” and they can be put in our aquarium without any detriment; in addition to this, they can also be an excellent element in a prawn farm.
Although they have a ball shape, they can be bent out of shape according our ornamental preferences. Covering decorative elements as an upholstery, anchoring them with a nylon thread or with a stainless steel mesh, or as something to upholster totally any decorative element that we could have in our aquarium (when the ornamental surface allows it).
Their temperature level ranges between 14ºC and 28ºC.
Their pH ranges between 6.8 and 7.5.
It doesn’t matter if they are in hard or soft water, they can adapt easily to both of them.
The intensity of light as well as the intensity of carbon dioxide (CO2) will establish the quantity of photosynthesis that they will carry out. Thus, they will emit a big volume of bubbles; sometimes, getting completely covered by them, and, consequently, getting the surface.
In our aquarium conditions and with some controlled parameters, we will maintain the weeds in a slow (but in the same time constant) growth.
